But it's also been hard because I haven't been there.
I've been nearby for every birth of my sister (with the exception of her second since I was at camp when Tessa arrived unexpectedly...but I was there the very next day!) I have been able to cuddled, play, and form close relationships with my nieces and nephews of all my siblings.
And now Caleb is here and I won't see him for a few months.
...It's kind of killing me....
When I found out that Becky was pregnant with Caleb, I literally jumped two feet in the air out of sheer excitement and then I realized that I would be here in DC. sigh. It's a very bittersweet thing.
But I am so happy for my sister and her family! And as I see it, my family is always complaining that I hog the babies (which I totally do) so this is their opportunity to get him as much as they want because I am planning on holding him all the time in December. :)
Welcome Caleb! I can't wait to meet you!
